疫情期間你做了什麼？
歐洲黑死病肆虐時，莎士比亞則是在家完成了一百五十四首的十四行詩！
十四行詩體源起義大利，人文主義詩人佩脫拉克即為代表，而十四行詩傳到英國即發展出不同的樣貌，莎士比亞的系列作品更是自成一格，也是詩人成就的里程碑。

莎士比亞先是詩人後才轉為劇作家，他的人生與創作歷經黑死病時期、伊莉莎白一世都鐸王朝結束，社會氛圍的開放，讓他的十四行詩得以出版於世。這精心編排的一百五十四首詩猶如一部戲劇，其中乘載著他赤裸又真實的濃厚情感，英國浪漫主義詩人威廉•華茲華斯（William Wordsworth）描述，莎翁這些詩句著實「敞開他的心房（unlock his heart）」，而如此坦白的表態，讓後世對莎士比亞的愛情、性向、人生觀有著多樣的想像。
